Michael Baer
Founder / Chairman
Michael Baer is the co-founder and Chairman of Baer Capital Partners and currently the Chief Executive Officer of MBaer Merchant Bank.
Michael has a Master of Science in Management and is a Sloan Fellow from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He also attended the Advanced Management Program at The Wharton School and has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Texas Christian University.
Brij Raj Singh
Founder / CEO
Brij is the co-founding Chief Executive Officer of Baer Capital Partners Ltd. Brij has over 30 years of banking, investment management, & PE experience.
Previously, he has been the CEO and Managing Director of Julius Baer Middle East and a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch where he was also responsible for the Middle East and the Indian sub-continent. Brij is a former Chairman of the Emirates chapter of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO).
Brij regularly writes articles on strategy and leadership development. He is the author of “India Chalo” (2008), “Wisdom Beyond Borders” (2006), both published by Harper Collins, and “Building Successful Organizations – A Directional Approach” (1996).

For his early education, Brij attended Mayo College. He then attended St. Stephen's College, Delhi University and later the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth. He has also attended the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at the Harvard Business School.
Alok Sama
Founder / Director
Alok Sama is currently a Senior Advisor to Warburg Pincus LLC and to The Raine Group. Alok is co-founder & Director at Baer Capital Partners
Alok has over 30 years of investment banking, capital market and investment experience in New York, London and Hong Kong. He continues to represent SBG on the Boards of SoFi and SoftBank Energy.
He is a member of the CNBC Global CFO Council, and a former Chairman of the London Chapter of the Young President's Organization (YPO).
He was formerly President & CFO of SoftBank Group International and Chief Strategy Officer for SoftBank Group (“SBG”). His responsibilities included corporate development, M&A, all proprietary investments and investor relations for SBG. While at SBG, Alok led projects with a value in excess of $100bn, and represented SBG as a Board member at Arm Holdings, Fortress Investment Group, Brightstar Corp, Softbank Energy, SoFi, SoftBank Group Capital, and Airtel Africa. Alok was formerly a senior Managing Director at Morgan Stanley. While at Morgan Stanley, he led the firm’s communications practise in Europe and the TMT practise in the Asia-Pacific region. He also established Morgan Stanley's capital markets business in Asia, and the investment banking practise in India.
Alok graduated with Distinction (MBA in Finance) from The Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania), and with Honours (BA in Mathematics) from St. Stephen’s College (University of Delhi).
Anish Abraham
Vice President
Anish is a Vice President (Finance and Administration) and the Company Secretary of Baer Capital Partners and has over 15 years experience.
Anish has over 15 years of experience finance, compliance, forex and operations and has worked in various organizations in the financial services sector. He has an MBA in Finance. In addition, Anish has experience in financial structuring.
